New Work: Modern Update
We just finished up a project in Five Points and I am so excited to share it with you all. Our client was looking to transform a living room and sunroom in their older, remodeled home. They wanted to create a space that was functional, cozy, but also fun. We loved getting to play with mixing various colors, patterns, and textures to unify and complete this space. My personal favorite was incorporating this beautiful curved velvet couch. This piece softened up the space and complemented the architecture of the room so well.
The original flow was a bit awkward and dysfunctional, but we transformed it to quite the opposite. I love how using these different pieces perfectly tied the room together. Just because you want a room to be comfortable and live-able, doesn't mean you have to sacrifice glam and style.
In the adjacent sunroom, we echoed the living room design by adding built in window seats that seem as if they’ve always been there and brought in fabrics that played well with the living room concept. It gave the sunroom a finished look. It wasn’t a complicated design but it was difficult in a way. The two rooms needed the exact right pieces to pull it all off. To complete it. To do the rooms and the house justice.
